We are really excited the girls are home!

Jon flew the girls home from South Carolina this morning and as you can see, both were excited to see their rooms, their things, and especially the pets! The pets weren't allowed in their bedrooms while they were away, so they were just as happy to see the girls!
They girls had a good time during their visit, but like Dorothy said, "There's no place like home".
We had dinner at Chili's, took a nap, made a run to Jamba Juice, stopped at Starbucks and did the usual walk through the mall to visit our favorite stores, went to the book store so Emmy could buy "The Chronicles of Narnia" boxed set (with her own money if you can believe that!), picked up some groceries, and then home for showers and jammies. We made sure to hit all of our "regular" spots to welcome the girls home, so we had a full day.
We had to tell Emmy to "zip it", referee some bickering, and try to have a conversation over the noise in the back seat..."normal" has been restored to our household and we are all very glad!

We thought about it, believe me, but the girls were anxious to get home and sleep in their own beds...I think they missed their rooms more than anything. They also really wanted to be in the parade...next time. :)
